The Association of Data-driven Marketing and Advertising wants mathematics to be compulsory for all secondary school students (Sydney Morning Herald, February 8, 2016, p23) because skills in analytics and digital marketing are now required for today's marketer. Members of the association are having difficulty finding employees with the right skills in data analysis.
